AYLESBURY'S MAYOR GOES PURPLE!
Cllr Graham Webster, current Mayor of Aylesbury, will go purple on Monday (13th Sept) to raise awareness for Lymphatic Cancer Awareness Week (13-19 Sept) and raise money for cancer charity the Lymphoma Association, which is one of the Mayor's charities for 2010-11.
Cllr Webster will be dying his entire head of hair, including his beard, purple on Monday at The Barber Shop on Buckingham Street from 10am onwards and supporters are welcome to come along, watch the spectacle and make a donation.
Aylesbury's Mayor will then be surprising shoppers by stacking shelves in Sainsbury's on Buckingham Street on Friday 17th September between 12pm and 1pm.
It will certainly be a sight to see and Graham needs all the support he can get - he is appealling to the people of Aylesbury (and the wider World!) to donate whatever they can to sponsor him. You can follow his progress and donate here:
