Open Gardens in Aylesbury
Five mature town gardens will be opening this year in Aylesbury under the National Gardens Scheme on Sunday 27th June. 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm. Each garden displays the individuality of its owner and their passions showing a range of ideas and specialities
13 Walton Dene
Town garden with a mixture of planting incl alpines and alpine house, perennials, shrubs, a selection of ferns and grasses, vegetables and some exotics.
16 Milton Road
Mature town garden featuring oriental and Mediterranean patios and pergolas with grape vines and clematis, woodland fernery and wildlife pond. Numerous hanging baskets and tubs add colour and a display of hostas add rich foliage
2 Spenser Road
Tranquil cottage style garden with many ornamental trees raised from seed. Victorian greenhouse with original features containing a collection of pelargoniums and tender plants. Vegetable garden featuring raised beds
110 Tring Road (Pictured)
Established town garden with mature trees, variety of perennial plants, rose bed and gazebo, pond, alpine raised bed and troughs and vegetable parterre
185 Tring Road
1930s 140ft cottage-style garden completely redesigned in 2007. Large fish pond and small wildlife pond, various beds, shrubs, rose beds, pergolas and patios and various specimen exotics.
Combined Entrance fee is £4 children free. All proceeds go to various national charities including MacMillan, Marie Curie & Crossroads
