Revisit the goldon age of steam in our steam hauled passenger trains and on our extensive mimture railway. Many locomotives on display from express passenger types to the humble shunting engine. Regular 'Day out with Thomas' events. Steam trains operate on sundays and bank holidays together with Wednesdays in the school holidays.

The extraordinary architecture of Claydon house includes extravagant rococo and chinoiserie decoration. Features of the house include the unique Chinese room and parquetry Grand stairs. In continuous occupation by the Verney family for over 380 years, the house has mementos of their relation Florence Nightingale, who was a regular visitor.

This National Trust property was built by Ferdinand Rothschild to display his collection of art and entertain the fhionable world. there are 45 rooms full of these wonderfull treasures to see. the victorian Garden is considered on of the finest in Britain with its seasonal displays, parterre, fountains, statuary, walks and aviary. A new children's woodland play area opened on Mother's Day and there are restaurants, gift and wine shops to enjoy.
