WALK FOR PEACE THIS WEEKEND

Local group Learning Together Living in Harmony has arranged a walk around Aylesbury to support peace and friendship in our town and in the wider world.

Whatever the weather, we'll meet outside the Court House at the bottom end of Market Square on Saturday 16th October at 3 pm. Come and join in. We'll walk for about one mile around Aylesbury, ending up at St Joseph's Church in the High Street.

Keep an eye on the weather – you might need an umbrella, or maybe even sunglasses.

Later on that evening "Feet on the Ground", a talk by Jan Sutch Pickard will take place in Aylesbury Methodist Church at 7.30pm. The speaker, who has recently returned from volunteer work in the West Bank, will describe daily life for Palestinian people living under occupation and what we can do promote a just peace in Israel-Palestine. All are welcome and the event is free.
