AYLESBURY HOLDS ITS OWN YOUNG POP STAR COMPETITION!

A competition to find Buckinghamshire's next Young Pop Star will be held on Sunday 1st August in Market Square, Aylesbury. The competition is free to enter and is open to anyone under 21 who thinks they’ve got what it takes to be the next big thing! Entries close on Friday, 23rd July, so entrants will need to be quick! Organised by STN Music on behalf of the Aylesbury Town Centre Partnership, this is an unmissable opportunity for local, ambitious young people to strut their stuff on a big stage, with a professional sound system, in front of a panel of music industry experts. The judges have promised not to be ‘Simon Cowell style’ cruel, and include Mix 96 DJ Adam Morris.

The winner will receive an incredible prize package, including a recording of their performance, a £100 cash prize plus a £100 cheque to the charity or local organisation of their choice.

The competition itself if FREE to attend and takes place in Market Square on Sunday, 1st August from 11.30 – 2pm. All entrants have to do now is get in front of the mirror with a hairbrush and start practising!
