Would you like to learn how to survey for species around The River Thame Catchment? We are running various introductory training courses to help volunteers get the knowledge and skills they need to collect invaluable data. The courses are run by expert ecologists and include species ecology, identification and survey techniques.

We can help promote your community event or service.

It can be as small as a coffee morning or as big as a week long festival, but it must be taking place in or around the parish of Aylesbury town and be of benefit to Aylesbury residents. The event can be free or ticketed, for charity or profit. We are also happy to promote all sorts of events run by a diverse range of clubs and organisations including sports clubs, literary clubs, faith organisations or residents associations.

All you need to do is email the following details:

  • Name of Event or Service
  • Date and start/finish times
  • Venue
  • Cost of attending event (alternatively please indicate if the event is free)
  • Brief description (a sentence is adequate)
  • Web link (if applicable)
  • A jpg or PDF of the poster for the event (if applicable)
  • Jpeg of photo complementing the event.
