Carolfest @ St Mary's Church | England | United Kingdom

Join us at this informal community carol singing event. Where you get to help fill the church to the rafters with traditional Christmas Carols in a very relaxed, warm, friendly atmosphere. Children from Bedgrove Junior School Choir along with Caduceus Brass Quintet and Next Stage Choir will lead the carols, with Dez Kay compering the evenings proceedings. We will be serving tea, coffee and hot chocolate with a mince pie or two, courtesy of Tesco Aylesbury 2 Community and the Scouts, whilst raising funds for the Mayor’s charity, Youth Concern

We are thrilled at Marie, from Hand Talking, will be joining us again, providing BSL interpretation for the entire event. So that those with hearing loss, can fully enjoy the event as well.

You and the children can wander round the church whilst enjoying the singing and the entire family can get into the festive spirit with a good old Christmas sing-a-long. Christmas jumpers and festive accessories are very much encouraged.

Please note that this is predominately a standing event, with priority seating available for those in need. No general seating available. Designated wheel chair area with assigned route.

Printed copies of the songsheets are available on the night but if you would like to use your iPad or mobile phone for the lyrics to do you bit for the environment then you can download the songsheet from here CAROLFEST SONG SHEET LARGE PRINT

Singing starts at 6pm, doors open at 5:45pm.

Carolfest takes place after a full day of activities in the town centre – please see the separate event listing for Festive Family Fun, for more information.
