Parklife Weekend 2021 @ Vale Park | England | United Kingdom
Parklife Weekend is an entirely FREE community festival across the August bank holiday weekend in Vale Park, Aylesbury. Events are brought to you by Aylesbury Town Council and supported by a number of charities and organisations. Below is an overview of each of the day’s activities, please see the separate event listings for further information.
Please note: If government restrictions – of any type – are introduced prior to the event, we will have to pull it at short notice.
LIVE IN THE PARK
Parklife weekend will start at 12 noon on Saturday 28 August with Live in the Park, featuring 9.5 hours of continuous live music across two stages and a wide range of family fun and entertainment. All in Vale Park, HP20 1RJ. Hosted by Aylesbury Town Council. Click here to read more information about Live in the Park.
STARS IN THE PARK
Saturday evening sees Stars in the Park. Hosted by UK Astronomy Events. Starting at 10:15pm, behind the main stage, join the team for a tour around the night sky using loads of amazing telescopes and equipment. Children must always be accompanied by a responsible adult. More information about Stars in the Park will be available soon.
CHURCH IN THE PARK
This is an all-inclusive open-air service and celebration hosted by The Aylesbury Church Network, it runs from 10:30am – 12 noon on the main stage.
AFTERNOON IN THE PARK
Aylesbury Church Network will be hosting Afternoon in the Park. Come and enjoy your picnic in the park.
PROMS IN THE PARK
The entire weekend culminates with Proms in the Park, where you’re invited to bring picnics, rugs, flags and your finest singing voices for this great British tradition, with Aylesbury Concert Band, soloists and a surprise interval performance. A spectacular firework display will finish the entire weekend at 9:30pm on Sunday 29 August. Click here to see more information about Proms in the Park.
