Proms in the Park @ Vale Park | England | United Kingdom

Aylesbury Concert Band with soloists Alison Langer and Lawrence Thackery will delight you at this typically English outdoor concert.

This years theme is “Childhood Memories”, and will cover a wide range of musical styles and eras – so whenever you were a child we hope to have something for you.

The program will include special arrangements for all of the family to enjoy, as well as the popular and traditional Proms anthems of Rule Britaina, Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory.

Bring your Union Jack flags, rugs, picnics, friends and family to enjoy the mix of traditional and contemporary arrangements. The evening, and entire Parklife weekend, will culminate in a brilliant firework display at approx. 9:30pm.

During the interval you will be entertained by the students of Vivo D’Arte School of Theatre Arts, based at the Waterside Theatre.  With programme details still to be confirmed.

You are invited to arrive with picnics from 6:30pm, concert starts at 7:15pm with fireworks at 9:30pm

Once again we are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to pre-order a luxury picnic hamper from Beef Olive, who have created the perfect accompaniment to bring to Proms. Please contact Beef Olive directly for further information and to place your order.

There will be a bar on site serving alcoholic and soft drinks, along with hot drinks and sweet treats from The Coffee Stop. You are very welcome to bring your own picnics and drinks.

This year is the 25th anniversary of the Aylesbury Concert Band and we know that they will make this a highly memorable concert for you all.
