Would you like to give the youth of Aylesbury Town a voice? Then the Aylesbury Youth Town Council might be just what you’re looking for.

Aylesbury Town Council are inviting secondary schools, Faith and community groups to nominate a candidate to be part of the 15 members who will make up Aylesbury’s first Youth Town Council.

So, if you, or someone you know either lives, goes to school, or attends a faith or community group in our Parish, how would you like to be part of this new adventure?

Youth Councillors need to be between 15-18 yrs of age.

Chairman of the Communities Committee, Cllr Alison Harrison said “We really want to work with our young people and get them involved in shaping our town. Who knows, one of the youth councillors may even stand as a local Councillor in the future”.

The deadline is Monday 21 November 2016.
