Town Mayor's Awards 2019/20

The Town Mayor’s Awards aims to recognise volunteers who have provided exceptional service to Aylesbury and its residents. The deadline for applications is Tuesday 31st March 2020
  • Town Mayor’s Awards Criteria

    1. No serving Councillor or Officer may receive the award. 2. No individual may receive the award for voluntary work on behalf of any political party. 3. Nominations must be made on the official nomination form (available from the Town Council Offices or website). 4. Nominee has demonstrated outstanding Citizenship. 5. Nominations are made within the categories above. 6. The candidate must have made a significant contribution to the quality of life in Aylesbury 7. There is no limit to the number of awards that can be made, but equally there is no obligation to make an award each year. 8. The closing date for applications is 31st March 2020 9. Awards, if any, will be made at the Annual Mayor Making Ceremony once per year.

    Please provide as much detail as possible, up to a maximum of 7000 characters on how the candidate has supported charitable or voluntary work within the community of Aylesbury. Photographs illustrating activities may also be attached in addition to the written statement.
