Live in the Park

*Best Family Friendly Event in Little Ankle Biters Bucks Awards 2022 and 2023*

Parklife Weekend kicks off from 12 noon with Live in the Park, featuring over nine hours of continuous live music across two stages and a wide range of family fun and entertainment. All in Vale Park, HP20 1RJ. Hosted by Stoke Mandeville Hospital Radio‘s Dez Kay.

Line up

Taking to the Main Stage and Bucks Radio Second Stage will be Liam King, Pam Harding, Nicola Gray, Memphis Rattlesnakes, Mike Carroll, Into the South, Abbie Gathard, 91 Nights, Jazz Dylan, Chiltern Grove, Hayley Chart and Abdiouene Brown.

Plus our 2024 headliners… The Dung Beatles! Since 2013, The Dung Beatles have carved out a unique reputation for performing the music of The Beatles with authenticity, passion and raw energy to sell-out audiences around the UK.

The band said: “It’s a real honour to be headlining this major event in our hometown where we’ve had the pleasure of playing this wonderful music to so many brilliant audiences over the past decade or so. From meeting so many people at our gigs and concerts, it’s amazing that there’s still so much interest in The Beatles, from younger people as well as from those who enjoyed their music back in the day, and of course their recent number one record which we’ve just added to our repertoire. We’re already thinking about our set, so any suggestions from those planning on coming along are very welcome via our website.

Live in the Park once again features the very popular Community Involvement area, an extended Kids Entertainment Area, fab food caterers and bars, as well as great local market stalls.

New for 2024

Pride in the Park, Friday 23 August, 5-9:30pm

This summer, Aylesbury will witness a historic event as Pride in the Park takes centre stage – the first Pride event of its kind to take place in the town.

Proudly organised by Aylesbury Community Pride and sponsored by Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, the free-to-attend celebration promises an evening of unity, diversity and entertainment.

Aylesbury Community Pride is a volunteer run organisation by a team of Aylesbury residents. Its mission is to boost viability, empathy and celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in Aylesbury.

At the heart of the festivities will be the main stage, hosting a dynamic lineup of performances from both local and renowned acts, from traditional drag to musical performances. Pride in the Park’s full line up is set to be announced in June and July.

Attendees can also explore the Bucks Radio Discovery Stage which will feature local talent and emerging artists plus there will be a chance to engage in insightful discussions at the Always Forward Marquee. A Community Engagement Area will provide an opportunity for attendees to connect with local charities and organisations, fostering connections and support within the community, including a live talk show podcast.

Limited performance slots are available for local talent. Interested performers are encouraged to secure their slot as soon as possible. Email info@aylesbury-community-pride.co.uk for further information.

Pride in the Park is made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship from Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, and funds provided by the National Lottery Community Fund, Rothschild Foundation Grant and Fairhive Thriving Communities Fund, with support from Aylesbury Town Council.
